Description

How to Use
PM. Use once or twice a week. Apply a thin, even layer to a clean, dry face, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for up to 8 minutes. Rinse and gently pat dry. Reduce the frequency and time of use if sensitivity occurs. This product may cause the skin to tingle and flush slightly for a short time.

    Gentle, non-drying kaolin mask

    I have tried quite a lot of kaolin masks which are for blemish skin. Usually they are very difficult to rinse as they kinda stick to the skin, and they dry out/irritate the skin. HOWEVER, this clearing mask is really gentle and effective! It is a bit watery compared to other kaolin mask but it is able to clear blackheads and whiteheads (pull the whiteheads a bit out from the pores). I really like the texture as it is easy to rinse. Moreover, it does help to remove dead skin.
    I really like this mask:) Highly recommended!

    This product does give me good results when I alternate with the Exfolikate gentle. I like the smell but my only negative with it is the way it feels when it's on and I feel like it takes me a long time to rinse it off. Otherwise, the product does do what it says, for me.

    I have been using Kate's acne line for almost a year and every product is great. This was the latest product that I had tried out of the line because it didn't come in the acne kit. I will not go without it now! My problem was cystic acne around my chin which Kate's products (the only products) did cure, but I did notice I had tiny bumps under the skin where the cysts use to form. Since the other products were controling them to not come out as big cysts, I needed something to still bring the tiny bumps to the surface to smooth out my skin. This product was the last step I needed to have beautiful clear smooth skin! I use this once a week to bring out any impurities and then I use exfolikate to exfoliate them away! Must have if you have acne, it helps to keep skin balanced!

    Best Defense Against Acne!

    I only use this product when I feel a potential break-out coming on or when I just want to "reset" my skin tone. Either way, definitely a worthwhile product.

    PROs:

    --lasts a long time if you use as recommended
    --doesn't dry out skin
    --washes off easily after use

    I find this mask great for its healing properties. I find it great for an all over the face type mask. it makes my skin look plump, refreshed, pores are smaller, scars are less visible, and baby soft. I find the mask better used for when blemishes are in the healing process instead of when they are newly developed (ie. cyst). The mask really speeds up healing time and reduces the mark you are left with afterwards to barely there. Kate Somerville and this mask specifically has been my go to for years! Love!

    I am a Kate Somerville believer!! Even though this product wasn't quite right for me as I have somewhat sensitive skin I believe it's still a great tool for those who do not have sensitivity. For me, it instantly caused burning to my face and i experienced extreme dryness after one use. However, the Oil Free Quench Hydrating Serum helped clear up the dryness after 2 days. There are so many options, not all these products will be right for you, but you can bet there are so many others that are.

    Kate's clearing mask offers great results. What I initially liked about this mask is the scent--very subtle and natural. What I like most about this mask is it takes more time than typical clay masks to dry, which makes me feel like the product is really pulling out those impurities and dissolving clogged pores. After washing the mask off, my skin is VERY soft and smooth and hydrated; my skin instantly looks better. Before Kate's clearing mask, I like to use her Detox or Gentle Daily Wash cleanser with my Clarisonic. which I feel helps aid in the masks effectiveness. After the mask, I proceed with my usual regimen which includes Kate's clarifying toner, anti-bac lotion, and her oil-free moisturizer. I feel like the products are much more effective after using this mask because they can penetrate the skin deeper. Great results!

    The Best Mask to Quickly Heal Blemishes

    I was surprised to see no previous reviews on this mask, it is by far, one of the best I have ever used! I use this mask every other day because it is quick and effective. In 8 minutes you can feel the blood circulating, after rinsing your skin is smooth, feels hydrated and it honestly clears out your pores to reduce their size. Another wonderful thing about this mask is that it helps blemishes heal very quickly, and you can also use it as an overnight spot treatment on those stubborn ones!
