Paramedical Esthetician / Skin Health Expert

A California native, Kimberly understands the importance of serious skincare. With eight years experience caring for troubled skin, this skin wizard is living her dream. Following in the footsteps of her mother, Kimberly trained at the James Albert School of Cosmetology and began treating skin shortly thereafter. Understanding the complexities of skin, Kimberly works diligently to help each individual client achieve his/her goal of a healthy, glowing complexion. Specializing in the Kate Somerville™ Signature Facial, Kimberly delivers each custom treatment with calm and confidence.

Kyoko Getz
Certified Massage Therapist / Esthetician / Skin Health Expert

Trained in both Japan and the U.S., Kyoko is known for her healing touch, incredible energy and for possessing the hands of an angel. A certified esthetician, with advanced training in cutting edge technologies, Kyoko specializes in Muscle Lift & Restoration as well as the Hydro Facial. Kyoko works patiently with her clients to redeliver youth and vitality to unhealthy complexions. In addition to the incredible results achieved by her technique, Kyoko infuses total relaxation into her treatments, combining stimulating massage and acupressure, leaving clients’ skin and spirit renewed and restored.

Sara McCloskey, RN

Sara received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco and has been serving the medical community for six years. A testament to Sara’s character, she spent several years working at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles before beginning her career in skin care. A Certified Laser Specialist, Sara has also received advanced clinical training on injectables. Sara’s confident hands and calm demeanor set clients at ease. Most importantly, Sara works closely with the Medical Director and the rest the Skin Care Team in order to ensure the highest level of safety and efficacy. Sara strives to effectively blend Esthetics and Medicine, leaving Kate Somerville™ clients with beautiful and lasting results.

Melissa Haloossim, RN

Melissa began her education at UC Davis where she received a BS in Animal Science. She wanted to further her involvement in the health field and went back to school to receive a second BS in Nursing from Mt. St. Mary’s College. For the past 2 years, she has been working at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and as a Home Health Nurse for Pfizer providing teaching and guidance in administrating specific medications to adults and children. Furthermore, she has trained with Dermatologists and currently works with the Medical Director at Kate Somerville to consult and treat skin health care. Melissa is experienced, trained, and certified to perform laser therapy and administer cosmetic injections. While working at Kate Somerville, she will be pursuing her Masters of Science in Nursing at UCLA to ultimately become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Nacole Raphalian
Esthetician / Skin Health Expert

A Santa Monica native, Nacole was raised with a holistic approach to well-being. Her interest in health led her to pursue a career in esthetics. Because skin is our largest organ, Nacole believes that by helping her clients acheive healthy skin, she is also working on increased wellness for the body and spirit. An expert in natural therapies, Nacole loves the Kate Somerville approach to skincare. She takes pride in merging science and nature in order to uncover the natural confidence and beauty within each individual.

Courtney Corvan
Certified Eyelash Professional

While growing up on the island of Catalina, Courtney Corvan frequently encountered vacationing celebrities. Years later she would see many of the same faces again, this time on set in her role as a professional makeup artist. A small-town island girl, licensed esthetician and Certified Eyelash Professional, Courtney has made her dreams come true: carving an ever-expanding niche for herself in Hollywood. Some of her clients include ABC, NBC, MTV, Fox TV, E! Entertainment Television, Style Channel, A & E, Marie Claire Magazine, to name a few.

Courtney is a Certified NovaLash Eyelash Professional who continues to stay current with new trends, application techniques and products through advanced workshops and trainings. She works closely with each client to deliver a customized look, tailored to each individual’s preference. Janice Jeune, RN

Warm and nurturing, Janice knew at an early age she would enter the medical profession. After graduating from Maria College in Albany, NY with an Associates Degree in Nursing, she immediately went to work in the ICU, specializing in Pediatrics. Currently Janice works at Children's Hospital of Orange County and at Kate Somerville. Inspired and fulfilled by her career, Janice feels privileged to give back to patients and clients and appreciates the opportunity to enhance the health and well-being of individuals. At Kate Somerville, Janice enjoys interacting with clients and having access to the most up-to-date technology in skincare. More than anything, she loves seeing amazing results and confidence restored.

Maryn Cords, RN

A tremendous asset to the Kate Somerville team, Maryn Cords graduated from UCLA with a degree in Marine Biology and went on to receive her BS in Nursing from Mount St. Mary's College. Currently pursuing a Masters in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner with a Neuropsych subspecialty, Maryn is committed to education and learning. Kate Somerville is blessed to have such a dedicated and informed team member, committed to the pursuit of knowledge and the well-being of her clientele.
