I have fairly oily skin during the hot muggy summers in NYC, so I was pretty psyched to discover this awesome lotion. It is non-greasy and absorbs really well. My skin just feels so good when I put it on. I also really like the pump mechanism that ensures the lotion doesn't get contaminated from your fingers or the environment. I used this every other day and it lasted me close to six months so I think it's a great value for the money.

I have combination/oily skin that is prone to breakouts when using heavy moisturizers so that is why I was so happy to find Kate Somerville's Oil Free Moisturizer! This oil free moisturizer feels creamy and luxurious without leaving a heavy, greasy feeling on my face. I can apply it as many times as necessary throughout the day and never get shiny or oily. It is also light enough to layer with other moisturizers at night if your skin is a little on the dry side or during the day with an SPF. I love being able to moisturize my skin without fearing breakouts!

I love this moisturizer. The very first time I used it was in the Blemish Banisher kit. I bought it out of desperation. My face was so irritated and broke out. I was in pain. I used the face wash and the exflikate and then when I put on this moisturizer... relief I had not felt in yrs. It soothed away all the tenderness and pain.

This is my first Kate Somerville product and I must say I am floored with the results. I never write reviews on products and I'm a product junkie, so this says something. I've struggled with acne since my early teen years and I'm 20 now. I've literally tried everything you could ever dream of, but nothing compares to this moisturizer! It's a little bit of heaven in a jar. All other moisturizers burn my face, cause breakouts, etc.- you name it, but not this. I actually like to touch my skin now and really massage it into my skin. Almost all of my acne has disappeared besides some hormonal zits- knock on wood. I also have extremely oily skin- so oily i use blotting papers twice a day! But, this moisturizer definitely helps my grease pit face and controls how much shine I'm showing. LOVE IT. BUY IT.

I normally wouldn't use moisturizer for my face only because my cheeks will be dry and my nose and forehead area would get oily. I read the reviews on this one and decided to give it a try. So far its actually helped my nose and forehead not be so oily. I use it in the morning before I put on make up and in the evening when I'm going to bed.

This is the first moisturizer that has the feel of a cream so i feel like i am getting more moisture and it does not break me out like most creams. A little goes a long way too. This is my third time buying and I recommend it to all of my friends.

This is an excellent moisturizer for my skin's needs. I need a moisturizer that hydrates, but wont buildup in my pores. It has met my needs, and has helped to clear up my breakouts and hydrate my skin at the same time. This is a great moisturizer during warm months as it doesn't buildup on my skin.

I order this product whenever I have extra money to purchase it. It is the only oil-FREE moisturizer I have found where my skin doesn't look oily within a couple hours of applying it. I also appreciate the fact that it is scent-free. Give it a try; you won't be sorry.

MD, on a routine visit, commented that I look wonderful...believe me, It's all due to Kate and this product., This oil free moisturizer makes the face look moist but not oily-moist. As Goldilocks said, "This is just right"!

I like this moisturizer thus far. I will say I have somewhat of an obsession with KateSomerville packaging ... it is beautiful and convenient. I love that the dispencer gives me just enough product for both my face and neck. The 4th star is because of the packaging.
I have SUPER oily skin. This moisturizer doesn't absorb oil (as it states), but my skin doesn't feel super greasy either. I am a professional makeup artist and I know the importance of moisturizing every skin type. I wouldn't say I couldn't live without this product, but that fact that it doesn't contribute to my face being a huge grease ball is a plus.
I will say that if I lived in a consistently cold climate, I would probably love this moisturizer. On the couple days it has been cold, I loved that my skin didn't feel tight, and wasn't greasy. I may keep this for winter, and look for something better for summer, when its hot and humid.Cori also recommends...

The moisturizer gives a great dewy finish to your regimen without looking too dry or oily. Some other oil-free products on the market make you look too dried out or adds a white color to your face (and makes you look more pale) but this product actually gives you your natural healthy glow and color.

It's difficult to find an oil-free moisturizer that works and doesn't smell like perfume. Since switching to this product, my complexion has improved significantly. It seems to have eliminated my problem with clogged pores and dry patches around my nose. Purchasing the larger 5 oz container makes this product a very good deal indeed!

I am 34 and have acne/rosacea (and have for years). I have tried literally *every* moisturizer out there. I have tried expensive moisturizers recommended by my dermatologist and drugstore moisturizers. They either broke out my face or left it dry and scaly. **THIS MOISTURIZER WORKS!** I was hesitant to purchase because the price seemed steep. However, after using it for one week, I am SO thankful I tried it. It doesn't break out my face. The flakiness (from my prescription meds) is gone, and my skin feels soft. I actually came back to purchase the entire skincare system because I am so happy with this moisturizer (my first KS purchase). Thank you, Kate!

J'ai une peau très déshydrater et j'ai beaucoup de difficulté à me trouver un bon hydratant. J'ai reçue un petit échantillon dans ma boîte de spot treatment (la photo est dans les produit recommander) Cet hydratant là n'est pas trop lourd et pas trop léger. Après l'application, notre peau est très confortable... Au départ je trouvais que toute la ligne de produits étaient un peu dispendieuse, mais Oh mon dieu à quel point efficace !! TOUT les produits valent les dollars dépenser.

By far the best moisturizer Ive ever used. Great in winter when your skin is dry in places, and light enough that your face doesn't feel oily in the summer. Doesn't cause breakouts. The larger size is definately worth the money, great savings!

Every moisturizer i've ever attempted to use has just broken my skin out---except this one! I don't use it too often (i use a lot of other Kate Somerville products and find that I don't always need to use a moisturizer) but when I do use it my face stays moisturized all day without breaking out.

I'm sooo happy I found this moisturizer! I've tried so many different oil free moisturizers and none of them have ever worked for me. This product, without a doubt is the best moisturizer I've ever used. It feels incredibly light weight and gives my skin just the right amount of moisture and it doesn't cause me to break out! I use this moisturizer along with the Detox Daily cleanser, and exfolikate and this trio works wonders! This moisturizer will definitely be in my routine for many years to come!

I have been using Kate's acne line for almost a year now due to having cystic acne, and my acne had vanished. I never liked using a moisturizer before because I was scared it would cause more oil and lead to more break outs. I was so wrong it actually helps control the oil in your skin by balancing it out when you're using the right amount of product. This moisturizer is not heavy, leaves skin feeling healthy and well quenched. It also has a great dispenser that will only give you as much as you need for one application.

I'm really glad I found this moisturizer. It instantly hydrates without being heavy. I also use the AntiBac that I mix with this to help smooth the AntiBac on. I love the pump dispenser (though, a bit over engineered) b/c it gets every drop of moisturizer out so I know I'm getting my $$s worth.

After 3 days of using this cream, I am impressed! It's such a great lightweight moisturizer for day time use. I use this cream after cleaning with my Clairsonic and it absorbs so well. I don't find it quite moisturizing enough for bedtime (especially in the winter) but I'm sure in the summer it will be perfect.

I have trouble finding a moisturizer that hydrates my dry skin but doesn't make my forehead and nose oilier than usual. I've found that this product actually reduces the amount of oil produced and keeps my dry areas from flaking, especially in the winter. The only con I have with this product is the packaging. I have trouble getting out the right amount and there isn't any way to tell if you really used all of the product inside. Overall, great moisturizer and I would certainly repurchase.

I've tried a million expensive moisturizers - eventually, all of them would cause breakouts. This moisturizer doesn't do that, and my skin actually feels moisturized after using it. After my favorite moisturizer was discontinued by another company I struggled for 2 years to find a replacement product. I am oily around the T zone and my mouth and chin are extremely dry. As a 30 year old woman, it is also important to me to find a product that fights against the first signs of aging as well as met the needs of my combination skin.
I stumbled upon the Kate Sommerville line while shopping at a local retail department store and fell in LOVE. Not only is Kate's oil free moisturizer lightweight, it packs a punch too. This product quenches my dry skin while not over hydrating my oily areas. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to start an anti-aging regimen or just wants their skin to glow!

I have acne-prone, combination, sensitive skin. It is impossible for me to find products that help with one issue without causing the others to flare up...until now! This product moisturizes my skin without leaving it greasy and does not give me any issues with allergies or break outs. I still get the occasional breakout, but the relative infrequency tells me that it's definitely not due to this product.

I have skin that is sensitive to fragrance and is acne prone. This moisturizer is AMAZING for so many reasons - it contains no fragrance, which means, yes it doesn't have a flowery or herbal scent, BUT i don't need fragrance, I just want a product that works. Oil Free also has anti-aging ingredients, and i have seen a huge difference in my skin firmness and overall smoothness, especially when i add HydraKate layered underneath Oil Free. HydraKate was recommended to me because it is oil free and won't cause any breakouts. This product absorbs quickly and leaves a perfect canvas for my makeup. It is so nice to have a moisturizer that actually works for oily/acne prone skin.

I originally used the goats milk when I was first introduced to the brand because most of my problems had to deal with the frigid cold winter that the east coast was experiencing in 2008, and then I used the nourish, which I loved, but when the summer came around I finally tried the oil-free moisturizer and OMG that started my Kate Somerville Addiction!!!! It is so lightweight and hydrating that I can not be without it EVER!!!!! My sister and her boyfriend are obsessed as well, this along with the gentle daily wash and exfolikate are the only products that they have and they have flawless complexions.

This moisturizer is amazing and a completely beautiful addition when applying makeup, leaves your skin feeling flawless! It grabs on to the cosmetics very easily without the damp, streaky-cakey look. I use it everyday and I use sample packets at my store for my clients as well and they always come back for it! Absolutely amazing!

Kate Understands

Kate is the only skin care specialist I've ever come across that understands middle aged women (50'S) can have combination skin, have hormonal breakouts, yet still need moisture and plumping in their face. I ADORE her Oil Free Moisturizer! Makes my face feel smooth and soft but clean. Ladies with Combo skin please try this. Having said that, many of Kate's other moisturizers that are a little more emollient still do not irritate my sensitive, acne prone skin. Try Kate's products. They are the best I've found, and I've tried numerous, used Kate's products, moved to others due to price and come back to Kate. Kate's products give you a bang for your buck! Read her book. It's so informative.

This is the only oil-free moisturizer that also has a wonderful creamy feel to it. It absorbs quickly, is not greasy and leaves your skin feeling like silk! I also love this moisturizer because it also helps make-up apply smooth without needing a primer for day time wear. If you have acne prone aging skin, you will find this a must have in your cabinet!!

I have dry, ance prone skin and in the summer I have trouble finding a moisturizer which does not leave me greasy, you hydrates my face-until this! I originally got it as a part of the 911 Kit and it works very well without causing any breakouts. I use this in the am and Nourish in the pm with the much-loved result of glowing skin! Thanks, Kate!

This is a perfect moisturizer! I can have acne flare ups every now and then, and also have slightly oily skin, and this moisturizer works great for me. Since I have been using Kate products I have been able to control my acne better, and focus more on my overall skincare. This product absorbs quickly and does not leave your skin feeling greasy, which also works great under makeup. Excellent product.
