I had received several samples of this when I ordered form Kate online..... I was still experiencing dryness and finally e-mailed customer service and explained all the products that I was using and why was I still not getting the moisture I was so wishing for. I realized thru a regiment that customer service sent to me that I was not using the Quench correctly! Now that I am I have noticed a difference in two days!!! Bought the full size at Sephora and my skin is loving it! What I have learned is that you must be open to contacing customer service... they not only helped me with my dry skin issues but I can continue to use the Kate products that I love. They all work together beautifully, you just need to learn how and when to use them! IN fact I am using less amounts of product now cause I am using it correctly!

I use this product twice a day and I love it. I feels great and leaves skin silky smooth. I have very dry skin and I think this is helping to keep my skin moisturized. I started with the oil-free version but I much prefer the texture of this version.

I'm choosy about products and try things from different lines to assemble my faves. This is one of them. I never want to run out. I live in a climate that's very cold and dry in winter and can be quite hot in summer. I use this year round. This winter was the most harsh on my skin that I can remember. It was so dry. I often layered Quench with another product to combat peeling, dry skin. One might think an "oily" product would cause clogged pores and pimples, but it doesn't. I really love this.

I use Quench twice a day on my face, neck and hands (and sometimes elbows) all winter long. It feels like silk on your skin and adds and instant glow. I have been using this product for over 8 years. If you have dry skin year-round or just in the winter this will change your life. I add after I cleanse and exfoliate and then follow up with moisturizer. Love love love it!

I've just recently switched to Kate's line and have purchased 4 products, this Serum being one of them. So far, it seems great. I've got the winter dry skin blues, so need an extra boost of hydration. This, combined with the moisturizer, feels like it's hydrating my skin well. It's not too greasy and I'm not having any problems. I will revisit my opinion once I've got a few more weeks of use. Am hoping this continues to do the trick.

I first got this serum in a kit. Just a small bottle- lasted a long time. My skin gets very dry all year round especially in the winter. This works overnight after exfoliating or under makeup. I just ordered my full size and can't wait to get it!

This is one of my first Kate products and I am really loving what it's doing for my skin. I am dry with occasional acne during my cycle and this doesn't break me out. It goes on almost like a "dry" oil, if that makes sense - not greasy or oily at all and it completely disappears and absorbs into my skin within a minute or two. What's really amazing is that it makes my skin soooooo soft to the touch. One pump does my whole face with a little residual product left over to go up my neck and chest, so I think it's a good value too. It's a great serum under my moisturizers both day and night -- a keeper!

I'm 25, and I don't have any aging concerns- however I am very dry on my face, body, scalp and my hair. I am in a constant battle to keep my skin hydrated. Layering this over my DermalQuench and then topping them both with Goat Milk cream really wins the war with dryness and dehydration. I have easily clogged pores and sensitive skin, and am allergic to practically everything- and this serum is the best I have tried from any line in my endless search. I really can't trust anyone besides Kate with my skin!

Aft skiing, my face gets really dry and irritated, and Quench has done a great job of adding some extra moisture before layering with Quench during the day. It absorbs quickly and is very light. Great product...and a little goes a long way. This really lasts.

I first got this as a sample and the first night i used it when i woke up my face felt amazing. i had to buy a full bottle. i enjoy the products texture, a little goes a long way. Ive been using it after toner every morning and night and i feel that it has made a difference in my skin. I believe that this is one of the products thats been keeping my acne away. I love this product! It's great for added moisture in the winter, when it's dryer. At first it feels a bit weird because the consistency is thicker than regular moisturizers and almost feels like you're applying oil to your skin. After it's absorbed in your skin, your skin will feel much more hydrated. I apply this every night during the winter.

I have been using this serum throughout the winter months. It is definitely oily but somehow manages to soak in quickly, turning your skin into a silky smooth canvas. It is very hydrating, without feeling heavy. I have very sensitive skin that will easily react and breakout with many products and I have had no problems with this serum. You only need a tiny bit, so the container will last a while.

I cannot function with out Quench!!! Twice daily it is a must and is especially great in the cold dry windy winter months. But is also amazing all year round. Even though I use it every day, AM & PM, I especially LOVE it after I have used ExfoliKate, Clearing Mask or Mineral Mud Mask. It keeps my face and neck silky smooth, hydrated but never oily! It has also improved the over all moisture balance, making my skin heavenly dewey and radiant and baby SOFT! Who doesn't want that!!?? I always follow with the Goat's milk moisturizer or CytoCell treatment.

My new favorite winter serum!

I saw the recommendation from Paula and bought a 2oz size of this serum. It's so far the best winter serum i've ever used. I love the oily texture especially for winter and it didn't cause any breakout on me. It also contains a lot of anti-aging ingredients like retinal, and so it's not only a hydrating serum. Highly recommended! Will definitely buy again!

For me, this is not an everyday product, but it saves my skin in the winter. I'm prone to break-outs, so I find its a little too heavy for everyday use, but when the weather temps drop, it wreaks havoc on my skin. A little Quench goes a long way. After cleansing, I apply a few drops of Quench over my face, followed by Kate Somerville Total Vitamin Antioxidant Face Serum and Nourish Daily Moisturizer. During the winter, I do this routine 3-4 times per week and I never have problems with dry flaky skin. A little does go a long way.

I've used all sorts of moisturizers but always seem to end up with dry skin by the end of the day (and my makeup sort of sitting on top of my skin as a result). I decided to give Quench a try and followed one of "Kate's Tips" of mixing one pump of Quench with my new Nourish moisturizer in the morning - it has made a world of difference. Quench really keeps me hydrated throughout the long day. I also feel like it helps my makeup really apply beautifully (probably because my skin is so hydrated) and gives me that dewy look I've always wanted.

Quench does its job perfectly. I live in LA with pollution and dry air which takes its toll. Quench used with Line Release and Sunscreen keeps my skin looking fresh without looking greasy. I'm 45 with pretty good skin and never had a skin care regime. I decided after much research to give the KS line a try a year ago. This line is the best decision ever. I use in conjunction with the Nourish daily moisturizer each night. I constantly get compliments on my skin and no one ever believes my age when I tell them. Although I reside in the humid tropics, the office air conditioner dehydrates my skin. I use Quench to prevent dehydration. I use other Kate serums, then Deep Tissue, followed by Quench. The final layer of Quench seems to seal in the serum and moisturizer and protect my skin from the air conditioner.

Good. Skin feels very quenched after application. However, serum is quite oily so do not be afraid at first use! Skin is soft and moist after using it, and I think it's good enough for daily use even on sensitive skin. Would recommend it :)

This serum is my #1 product (post cleanser) that I apply to my face! I live in a dry cold environment, and dry skin is not at all uncommon for me! So using this means no little flaky pieces of skin near my nose or mouth when I'm applying my makeup. I love that! Even when I dont wear makeup for the day, having this on alone gives me that nice glow and I dont have to stress about flaky patches of skin! It is very moisturizing and leaves a very soft finish to my skin. Love love love this!

if you are using kate's products, it will be very rare that your skin is dry...but if the climate does cause you to get dry, then i would highly recommend this product. it gets right to the point and provides the "quench" your face needs.

I have dry, acne prone skin and this has done wonders to give a "glow" before makeup application and does not break me out. I use one pump of this mixed with a vitamin C powder and my oil free or nourish moisturizer and slather my face pre-makeup application for a gorgeous glow and soft skin all day! No need for primers anymore.

This Quench serum is amazing! At first I was hesitant because it's more like an oil and I was expecting a lotion like other moisturizers, even though it says serum. It's not greasy at all and rubs completely into the skin leaving it amazingly soft. I use this every morning before applying makeup and it makes my makeup go on so smooth. The product lasts quite awhile and a little bit goes a long way, you definitely don't need more than one pump. Highly recommend!

I really love this serum for so many reasons… A great base to use before make up- it’s replaced my makeup primer! It’s not oily and absorbed really quickly into by dry and dehydrated skin. And I really only need to use a little bit, so this product last and last. Such a skin investment!
