Great Lightweight Protection

Wonderful non-greasy SPF! Goes on very smoothly, and a little goes a long way. Lightweight enough to use over a moisturizer in the cooler months, even if your skin is a little oily. In warmer or more humid climates where you don't need a full moisturizer, it's great on its own. My skin is a little sensitive, and I did experience some redness in the first few days, but I haven't had any problems at all since then.

This sunscreen is great. I usually hate to apply sunscreen to my face and I hate the feeling it leaves. This is the only sunscreen that doesn't bother me. It goes on smooth and is not sticky. It's easy to apply and the bottle is nice. I would highly recommend this for every day wear.

I was in the market for a higher SPF sunscreen, however this did not deliver for the following reasons:
1) Burned upon application
2) Left face red and irritated
3) Not suitable for sensitive skin
I will let my husband try this, but I have since read after purchasing that other individuals have had the same reaction.

I have oily skin and this sunscreen is perfect for me. It does not leave me oily after wearing it and it does not leave a white cast like other sunscreens. Also, it's easy to apply is not a thick lotion. And no breakouts.

Love this sunscreen! It's great for using on your face as it's not at all greasy! Gives good protection. Also use this on my face and throat and have always had great results. Due to the price, I'd recommend only using in those areas and getting the cheap stuff for everywhere else though! You can go through an entire tube in a day or two for all-over application and reapplications!

I have purchased this product through QVC as one time purchase. Since I've started using it, I loved it so much that before I run out, I'll get it on Auto-Replenish directly from Kate's site. The sunscreen is amazing! It's very light and does not clog up my pores. I like the scent, too. Usually, I use it under my moisturizer and make-up, as it's the first thing I put on my face - after the cleaning. I would recomment this product to all ages and groups.

My face always breaks out when I use spf moisturizers so I typically wear an spf foundation powder instead. I purchased Kate's serum sunscreen last summer prior to a trip to Arizona becuase I knew I would need something stronger, especially if I was in the sun all day.
After 5 days of laying in the pool and applying this product once in the morning and once in the afternoon, I fell in love! This is a non-greasy formula that instantly soaks into your skin. My face never burnt and I did not break out once during the trip. I will never use anything else on my face when in direct sun again!Katie also recommends...

Finally a sunscreen that works for sensitive and acne prone skin! This is very lightweight but very effective. I had been using COOLA before but it doesn't go on as easily or have as high of SPF as this after trying multiple products.This product doesn't leave your skin looking white at all either. It's hydrating even for oily or combination skin. Hands down the best sunscreen!

If you purchase any Kate product it should be this one. I am a firm believer is sunscreen and have tried a number of different products, but Kate's sunscreen not only provides a high SPF but also it is not greasy AT ALL. I have sensitive skin that can be oily and have acne breakouts every now and then, but since using Kate products both of my issues have become much more manageable. As listed in the product title this sunscreen is a serum and absorbs very quickly where it doesn't even feel like a product has been applied. Strongly recommend.

I have tried literally hundreds of different sunscreens that were for sensitive skin, from super expensive specialty lines that made my skin burn and turn red to the heavy white potions that dermatologists sell in their office. Until now they either burned or felt heavy and super shiny, this stuff is great! About five minutes after i put it on there is no trace...no shine, no burn, no redness, and no oily mask. I hated sunscreens so much that i rarely used them on my face (naughty) and I have lupus so suncreen is super important. Now i use it everyday .

I have tried many sunscreens over the years and have a stong family history of melanoma. I tried this on a whim as I love and use many of Kate's other products and fell in love. It does not make me break out, leaves no white residue and works perfectly under makeup. I have had issues with other sunscreens making me feel "slick" and this did not do that at all. In fact, after a recent trip to a location with 90 degree weather, my face had no color, which is what I prefer, although I was in the sun the whole time. One pump is enough for face and neck so this lasts forever!

I live in Florida. I love the beach. That's the reason I moved here. Having said that, I also know that the sun I worship can be very damaging. Enter Kate Somerville. I have been using her SPF55 Serum religiously for 2 years now. Last time I had one of my bi-annual dermatologist appointments I had just returned from a 7 day cruise. She looked at my skin and said, "I'm glad to see you protected your skin so well". Kate's SPF55 is always in my beach bag. I put it on my face to neck including eyelids. No adverse reaction on my sensitive skin. Kate's products are really the best. I have tried many others thinking I could find something "cheaper" You get what you pay for. When I get to LA I can guarantee I will book an appointment at Kate's spa. That's on my bucket list - letting her team do their magic. Wish I was 30 so I could work under her and learn. What a brilliant woman. Read her book! Kate is the best!

I never knew how vital SPF's were to our daily lives until I had a class on how bad the sun damages our skin cells & collagen. I use to get sun blisters, sun breakouts and irritation all from the sun until I began using Kate's SPF....I never get sunspots, breakouts or blisters anymore. It truly covers the entire face w/ just one pump and completely protects your skin from all the sun's-badness! A must have for anyone and everyone!

no white face with this SPF

OMG. Yes I said it, OMG. This is by far the best SPF over a 30 that exists. Not only is it NOT greasy (I hate being a goop face) but it also leaves my face picture perfect without giving it that white/gray/blue tint (you know what I'm talking about my darker skin peeps). Finally I can protect without looking like a ghost or having a oil slick mid day! Did I mention it stays put while swimming too? No more burning eyes when you're getting out of the water, move over Anita Ekberg (La Dolce Vita/Federico Fellini) and Bo Derek (10/Blake Edwards), here comes one more hot mama looking fab before AND afer a dip.
